Skadoosh

So we just saw Kung Fu Panda. It was a pretty rad movie. Anything with Jack Black in it is bound to be amusing, and this did not disappoint. Also, look at the supporting cast: Angelina Jolie? Lucy Liu? Jackie Chan? I laughed a lot, I learned a valuable lesson in believing in yourself, and I thought the fight sequences were pretty rad. There's an enchanting cartoony feel to the whole movie - it doesn't take itself too seriously, which I liked. But before I turn into Movie Snob 3000, I will wrap this post up and tell you to just go see it.

I have to admit, the first time I saw a commercial for this movie, I was not excited. Then other people said it was awesome...Heck yes it is! My mother found an action figure of Monkey aka Jackie Chan. Whoopa!

I felt pretty stupid when I didn't figure out until the closing credits than the red panda was Dustin Hoffman. But we loved this movie too.

You will go blind because of it's awesomeness.

Haven't seen it yet. But I'm hoping that Grandma will want to take the kids to go see a movie when we go visit this summer.

Although it's likely we'll see Wall-E instead, knowing my mom.

Not that I'm complaining, it being a Pixar movie and all, and everything they touch has been gold so far (knock on wood).
